Sports Illustrated columnist Steve Rushin wrote in 2010 (as Favre Year 2 was winding down) that the Vikings had most of their success when owned — in part — by the “perfectly named” Max Winter. It’s required reading as Minnesota fans head into another season filled with promise. Rushin also believes the new outdoors Vikings stadium should echo corporate, and be named “Winter Park.”
