The Star Tribune reported that pitcher Tommy Milone, (8-5) “who had allowed only seven runs in seven career starts against Chicago, equaled that number in the fourth inning” in the Saturday night game. Milone gave up seven runs – four earned – and eight hits in 3 2/3 innings.
The Associated Press notes the Twins went into the game trailing Texas in the race for the second AL wild card as the race tightens.
