The White Sox clipped the Twins 4-2 Monday night in Chicago. Despite allowing just two runs over six innings, Twins’ starter Samuel Deduno took the loss. Jamey Carroll hit his first home run for the Twins and his first in more than three years.
Carroll’s last home run was in August of 2009 — also against the White Sox. He played for the Cleveland Indians at the time.
Minnesota was a mediocre 1-9 with runners in scoring position.
Chicago has won 10 of 13 games against Minnesota this season.
