We probably sound like a broken record saying there’s not a whole lot of positivity out there about the Vikings, but the good thing is, so does everyone.
Here’s the best, or worst, of the best, or worst.
Patrick Reusse of the Star Tribune rips co-host Vineeta Sawkar and pretty much everyone else involved with the Vikings, while calling for a Christian Ponder release.
Ben Goessling of ESPN calls the Vikings performance “awful,” while also saying its over for Ponder as a starter.
Pro Football Focus broke down the game in-depth, and called portions of Christian Ponder’s performance a “drastic fail.”
Michael Rand of the Strib says this is the 1984 season, widely considered the worst in franchise history, all over again.
Jason La Confora reminds us that we may not see Jared Allen in purple again, with the Cowboys and Broncos as a few likely spots should Minnesota move Allen.
On the Packers side, Mike Vandermause has the quote of the night, with Aaron Rodgers once again tearing Minnesota apart on the road and saying of the Metrodome “I’m going to miss it.”
Here’s Vandermause’s postgame chat as well.
Its all positivity and love, with the words “unstoppable” used to describe the Green Bay offense.
Sadly, its true.
The Vikings third-down defense was so bad, the Packers punter could have stayed at home: http://t.co/ocn98m2qd7. #Vikings

Repeating: #Vikings NEVER stopped #Packers. No turnovers, no punts, 13-of-18 on 3rd down. 2 of 3rd downs converted on 4th, other 3 FG.

Its the truth, and today, it does indeed hurt.
