It’s must reading for all Vikings and Adrian Peterson fans.
CBSSports.com Senior NFL Columnist Pete Prisco chatted with Peterson at Winter Park recently to re-live the 2012 NFL season, play by play.
Naturally, topics included Peterson’s ACL tear in December of 2011, the long rehab, followed by the incredible MVP comeback.
Of that comeback, Peterson admitted to Prisco that fellow players thought he may have used performance enhancing drugs to speed up his recovery.

Peterson heard the talk himself, including during a game against the Lions, where he had this exchange:
Unnamed Lions linebacker: “Whatever you were juicing on, let me know. I need it.”
Peterson: “Man, it’s a lot of prayer. The juice of God.”
Peterson also said that the PED talk was a compliment.
“I’ve always been an honest person,” Peterson said. “I never cheated the system.”
