The Minnesota Timberwolves dropped their third game of the road trip Friday night, falling to the Oklahoma City Thunder 113-99.
Neither Nikola Pekovic nor Kevin Garnett played for the Wolves – it was the third straight game that Garnett missed. He also sat out losses to the Clippers and Suns earlier in the week.
The Thunder’s triple-double machine Russell Westbrook didn’t miss the game and he didn’t disappoint finishing with 29 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.

With Pekovic and Garnett out, Gorgui Dieng saw more minutes than usual and the young center responded by scoring 21 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.
Andrew Wiggins added 19 points and Justin Hamilton chipped in 17 for Minnesota.
The road trip concludes on Sunday for the Wolves (14-50) at San Antonio.
