The Vikings’ stock continues to rise.
Off to an impressive 4-1 start, Minnesota is climbing up the various power rankings charts. Heading into the Week 6 matchup in Washington, here’s how the various list-makers see the Purple in the 1 through 32 rankings:

FoxSports, follows that with the Vikes up four notches from their Week 5 rankings. Author Brian Billick heaps most of his praise on the Minnesota defense.
ESPN hikes the Vikes up eight spots this week, saying “they appear to be legit.”
CBS Sports has Minnesota up five places from last week, calling the Vikings “the surprise team” of the year.
The Bleacher Report has the Vikings up five spots from Week 5 as well, saying the team has a legitimate shot to go 8-1 to start the year.
SB Nation has the Purple up four spots, saying, “So, this is what it’s come to, huh?” Not sure if that’s a compliment or not.
