The Wild scored four times in the third period to come from behind and beat the Winnipeg Jets 4-2 Friday at Xcel Energy Center, and in the middle of all the goals was a Grade-A slobberknocker on the Winnipeg bench involving Wild defenseman Nick Seeler.

It happened with the game tied 2-2 and 5:31 left in the third period. Winnipeg’s Adam Lowry shoved Seeler in the face, sending him backward into Winnipeg’s bench. Immediately, Seeler got up and started throwing his fists, which obviously created a brawl that Marcus Foligno of the Wild and everyone within reaching distance on the Jets bench was involved in.
Wild coach Bruce Boudreau called it “old-time hockey” after the game, and he was all smiles as the Wild improved to 14-7-2 on the season.
Lowry: "I hit Eriksson high. It's unintentional, but Seeler being a good teammate jumps in. Whoever was on our bench didn't shut the gate so he goes in there and I think there's a few bodies in there."

Minnesota trailed 2-0 entering the third period before Nino Neiderreitter, Eric Fehr, Eric Staal and Zach Parise tallied goals for the win. Staal’s proved to be the winning goal with just 2:31 left in the game.
