Here’s one you might never see again. The Wichita Wind Surge, the Double-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, won with a walk-off inside-the-park home run on Sunday.
Alex Isola, a 24-year-old prospect, had a 2-2 count with one man on base and no outs with his team down 12-11 to the Springfield Cardinals when he hit a drive to center field that got past a diving Cardinals outfielder and Isola was able to race around the bases and slide in safely to home plate to win in thrilling fashion.
WALK-OFF INSIDE THE PARK HOME RUN!
Alex Isola just hit an inside the park walk-off home run to win an absolutely electric ball game!

It was the first walk-off win of the season for the 35-48 Wind Surge.
Perhaps the craziest part of the story is that Isola is a catcher. How many catchers have enough speed to hit an inside-the-park homer in any situation, much less in walk-off fashion?
