Miguel Sano finally broke out of his funk against the Houston Astros on Monday by smacking this tater tot to deep center field.
The home run was estimated at 417 feet and it was his 13th of the season. Sano is on pace for 54 home runs this season. This one was part of a seven-run fifth inning for Minnesota.
Before his blast, Sano had struck out 13 times over his last 18 at-bats and had just one hit to show for it. Despite this funk, he still came into the game slashing .293/.406/.580 on the season.
Sano is now up to 39 RBI, good for second most in the American League.
