He is Royce Lewis and he hits dingers, preferably with the bases loaded.
The Twins’ budding superstar launched the fifth grand slam of his fledgling career – and his fourth since Aug. 27 – in the top of the 2nd inning against the Chicago White Sox.
Lewis’ first ever home run for the Twins in 2022 was a grand slam, and followed it up with two against the Texas Rangers on Aug. 27 and 28, and one against the Cleveland Guardians on Sept. 4.
It marked back-to-back home run-hitting nights for Lewis, who also hit a two-run bomb against the White Sox in Thursday’s 10-2 win.
Oh, Royce Lewis can most definitely hurt you when the bases are loaded. 😱 pic.twitter.com/3n7OH5glap
