In case you didn’t know – Royce Lewis, the top pick in the MLB Draft, is very good at hitting baseballs.
He was promoted to Class A earlier this month, and on Tuesday, he hit his first home run as a member of the Cedar Rapids Kernals.

At just 18 years old, Lewis is playing against competition that’s mostly in their early 20s. Yet, that hasn’t fazed him as he’s hitting nearly .400 at Class A.
With Lewis still so young, he’ll most likely only get stronger as he gets older.
He’s already a menace on the basepaths, having stolen 17 bases while scoring 46 runs in 45 games between Rookie League and Class A.
