The Vikings left Mankato forever on Tuesday as they left training camp en route to Buffalo for the first preseason game Thursday night against the Bills.
Tuesday’s departure was subtle compared to Saturday’s night scrimmage at MSU-Mankato’s Blakeslee Stadium, where head coach Mike Zimmer was wired for sound.
Surprisingly, Zimmer didn’t throw many F-bombs on what appeared to be a pretty laid back practice for the coach.

The Vikings play their first preseason game Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills. Kickoff is set for just after 6 p.m. CT.
