Miguel Sanó launched a 495-foot bomb all the way out of Fenway Park on Wednesday night in what was the second-longest home run by a Twin during the Statcast era.
With the Twins holding onto an early 1-0 lead, Sanó stepped to the plate in the third inning and delivered a majestic blast that cleared the highest point of the stadium and out toward the Citgo sign.
Miguel Sanò's 495-foot long ball is tied for the longest HR since the start of the 2020 season (Acuña Jr.).

The blast was one foot shy of the Twins’ record, held by Sanó when he launched a 496-foot home run on Sept. 17, 2019.
Miguel Sanó's 495-foot blast is the second-longest #MNTwins homer ever tracked by Statcast, behind only a 496-foot blast by… Miguel Sanó.

Sanó has had a rough season for the Twins, hitting .217 with 21 homers and 56 games after Wednesday’s win over the Boston Red Sox. While Sanó has 132 strikeouts on the season, his mammoth blast is a reminder of what can happen when he makes contact.
