According Baseball Savant, the ball left his bat at 114.5 mph and traveled a projected 463 feet.
We couldn’t see the ball land on the replay so good luck to you as you try to identify the crushed ball. All we know is that two people in the scarcely populated stands looked up at the ball at it flew overhead and kept running up the stairs in an effort to locate it.
It’s Wallner’s second grand slam of the season, putting him two behind Royce Lewis for the most grand slams on the team this season. Not a bad rookie duo, eh?
