Minnesota Twins 7
Boston Red Sox 4
The Red Sox brought it to the Twins on Friday and Saturday, beating them by a painful 7 and then 9 runs respectively. But on Sunday, the Twins took the Sox all the way to the tenth inning for a victory.
Outfielder Max Kepler hit the first home run of his career, which also turned out to be the winning hit of Sunday’s game. It brought Joe Mauer and Brian Dozier home in the bottom of the tenth inning.

Kepler was called up in April after Danny Santana strained his right hamstring. He was born in Germany and played professionally there before signing with the Twins.
