Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov became the first rookie in franchise history to post a 20-goal season as he scored in the first period against the Los Angeles Kings on Friday night.
Kaprizov’s latest highlight came early in Friday’s game as he received the puck at center ice. Breaking into the Los Angeles zone, Kaprizov weaved through the Kings defense and buried a wrister past Calvin Petersen to score in his fourth straight game.
