After working out with football stars Dak Prescott and Demaryius Thomas earlier this week, new Timberwolves swingman Jimmy Butler spent five minutes with SportsCenter’s “The Six.”
“We can win,” Butler said of the Timberwolves when asked if he’s at all bitter with the way things ended for him in Chicago. “We got a really good shot. I’m happy with that. I really am.”
“I know that we can get this city rocking real, real soon if everybody comes into camp the way we we’re supposed to be shape-wise,” said Butler. “And be prepared to hear Thibs’ voice every single day. You gotta handle that.”
The Wolves have yet to acknowledge reports that they’ve signed 37-year-old guard Jamal Crawford, but Butler mentioned Crawford as part of the team, although he referred to him as “ScoreLord,” which is an awesome nickname.
Here’s a look at Butler with Thomas and Prescott earlier this week.
