The Minnesota Golden Gophers look to be getting their offense back on track against Northwestern – and catches like this from Corey Crooms Jr. certainly help.
Crooms, a transfer from Western Michigan after last season, made an incredible, leaping, one-handed grab on a pass from Athan Kaliakmanis early in the second quarter.
The 27-yard reception put the Gophers firmly into Northwestern territory, and they ultimately continued to march down the field before Darius Taylor scored a one-yard touchdown to extend the Gophers’ lead to 14-0.
