A fan ran onto the field at Comerica Park in Detroit during the middle of the Tigers-Twins game Wednesday night and he might still be running had he not given himself up.
The unidentified fan, dressed in a yellow jersey with No. 69 on the back, juked and sprinted his way through a group of security officers for about two minutes. The pursuit didn’t end until he volunteered himself to an exhausted security guard, who squared up the perp and tackled him to the ground.

The fan is likely going to face some sort of discipline. According to the Tigers website, going onto the field is considered trespassing and can lead to an arrest and fine. The rule states:
For the safety and enjoyment of all, guests are reminded to not interfere with a ball in play or trespass onto the playing field. Interference and trespassing are prohibited by Comerica Park policy and a City of Detroit Ordinance. Persons who violate this ordinance are subject to ejection, arrest, appearance ticket and prosecution.
Here’s another angle of his masterclass in evading slow-footed security officers.
