No one has ever questioned Carlos Gomez’s passion for the game of baseball, and on Sunday his passion was on full display.
Gomez, now playing for the Houston Astros, struck out with two runners on base and the Astros trailing the Red Sox by three in the third inning. He then violently snapped his bat like a pencil over his knee.
