Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine was a first-round pick in 2014 but he didn’t do much damage in the NBA as a rookie.
He averaged 10.1 points per game in 77 games (40 starts).
LaVine, however, is a human highlight reel and his dunking prowess has been on full display ever since he won the Slam Dunk Contest during the NBA All-Star festivities last season.
He’s currently in Las Vegas playing in the Summer League with the Timberwolves. Along the way he was asked to play “Rate That Dunk” with The Starters from NBA.com.
“What’s the worst score you can give?” LaVine asked after watching a folly of a Chinese Basketball Association dunk contest.

LaVine gave out just one perfect score. It went to Andre Iguodala for a pretty wicked off-the-backboard reverse dunk.
Not even this choreographed pool dunk from the JamBroz got a perfect score. LaVine gave it a 9.
LaVine also gave rookie teammate Karl-Anthony Towns, the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft, a 9 for this between the legs dunk.
