You haven’t seen cocky until you’ve seen Carlos Gomez’s walk-off home run against the Twins on Sunday.
Gomez knew it was gone as soon as he hit it in the ninth inning against Twins reliever Addison Reed.
His celebration was supremely arrogant, featuring a bat toss, hands in the air, looking into the crowd away from the ball, cheering himself on while rounding the bases, and then doing a dance as he got to home plate.
Not only that, but it was a complete 360 from what Gomez did earlier in the game, when he struck out and snapped his bat over his knee like a toothpick.

The Rays won the game 8-6 and swept the three-game series.
Up next, the Twins begin a four-game series Monday night in New York against the Yankees.
