Brian Dozier is no stranger to leadoff home runs, he surpassed Jacques Jones for the Twins record in that category earlier this season with his 21st and has since added six more for a total of 27.
Although what happened Saturday won’t go down in the history books, Dozier did it again, sort of.

Sadly, the ruling on the play was a bunt hit and a throwing error that allowed Dozier to round the bases and score. The play is known in the baseball community as a “Little League home run.”
The Twins went on to beat the Tigers 10-4.
