Tim Miles has some Minnesota connections. He was the head coach at Southwest Minnesota State University (1997-2001) before taking the head coaching job at North Dakota State University, which led him to Colorado State and now the University of Nebraska.
Miles is as cool as they get in the coaching game. He tweets – by himself – at the half of every Nebraska game and he’s gutty enough to keep the vomit down when flying with the Blue Angels.
With a plastic bag over his mouth mid-flight, Miles says, “It’s all dry-heave, I can’t puke.”
