If the Twins’ 2013 season is totally bumming you out, then perhaps a look at next year will cheer you up.
The Twins have released their 2014 schedule and … well, you know, the All-Star game is coming to Target Field, so that’s something.
Well, heck, let’s do this anyway. As the Pioneer Press points out, our hometown nine start the year off with six road games, but maybe that’s good – the season starts March 31. They play the White Sox before moving to Cleveland.
The Twins return to Target Field for the home opener April 7 against the A’s, with an off-day the next day. It starts a nine-game homestand for Minnesota against the A’s, Royals and Blue Jays, according to the team’s web site.
And Fox Sports North notes that The Twins will travel to San Diego (May 20-21), San Francisco (May 23-25), Milwaukee (June 2-3) and Colorado (July 11-13) for their four interleague road series.
