It’s common knowledge that Target Field in Minneapolis is one of the supreme ballparks in America, but is it the best in baseball?
Ballpark Digest is giving fans the chance to vote for their favorite park in Major League Baseball, and they’re doing in an NCAA tournament-style bracket.
First, the publication provided its own rankings of all 30 MLB stadiums. The top two – AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants and Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox – were given a first-round bye.
Target Field was ranked fifth overall and is matched up against the Atlanta Braves ballpark, Turner Field in a first-round matchup. The winners are determined by votes. If Target Field advances past Turner Field, it will be slotted against Kauffman Stadium (Kansas City Royals) or Angel Stadium (Los Angeles Angels) in the second round.

Ranking ballparks isn’t uncommon, and Target Field is generally ranked among the ten best whenever a list is created. Bleacher Report ranked Target Field fifth in 2014; Fox Sports ranked it eighth; Thrillist ranked it 11th.
