Aaron Rodgers won’t play when the Vikings meet the Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday.
Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy announced that Scott Tolzien will make his second straight start. Tolzien, the former Wisconsin Badger, threw three interceptions in Green Bay’s loss to the Giants on Sunday.

Rodgers hasn’t played since injuring his collarbone against the Bears on Monday Night Football two weeks ago. The Packers lost to the Bears that night, and have subsequently lost to the Eagles and Giants since.
Minnesota might get even luckier if Jay Cutler isn’t able to play in two weeks. This is the report out of Chicago today.
Cutler says he hopes to play against the Vikings on Dec. 1 but there are worrisome ligament issues. He is unsure of his status for that game

A rather absurd stat could come to an end this week unless Tolzien, Christian Ponder, Matt Cassel or Josh Freeman (whoever the Vikings pick to start this week) becomes an NFL MVP someday.
