The Minnesota Vikings will be without two key players against the Washington Redskins on Sunday as both Marcus Sherels and Captain Munnerlyn have been ruled out with ankle injuries.
Sherels has been dealing with an ankle injury for the last few weeks and this will be the second game he’ll miss this season.
Munnerlyn injured his ankle in Minnesota’s loss to the Detroit Lions last week. With Munnerlyn out, rookie Mackensie Alexander should see more playing time.
This will be the fist game Munnerlyn has missed since signing with the Vikings in 2014.
Captain Munnerlyn had played in all 40 games since joining #Vikings. Sitting out Sunday will break an overall streak of 72 straight played

Defensive tackle Linval Joseph participated in practice and it sounds like he’ll be healthy enough to play on Sunday.
Although being down a key member on defense, Washington will also be without wide receiver DeSean Jackson which is still good news for a Vikings team that’s looking to snap their three-game losing streak.
