Vikings season ticket holders will have the opportunity later this week to be among the first people to get a preview of the team’s new $1 billion stadium, the Star Tribune reports.
The early glimpse will be offered at the “Stadium Preview Center,” a new 7,500-square-foot space located on the fifth floor of the 1010 Metrodome Square Building adjacent to the stadium’s construction site in downtown Minneapolis.
Season ticket holders are currently being contacted by the Vikings to make appointments, and non-season ticket holders can sign up for a waiting list.
The Pioneer Press says the Preview Center includes suite and club seat replicas, interactive kiosks and 360-degree panoramic views from various vantage points inside the new stadium.
In addition, the Vikings say, the center includes a “custom-filmed experiential player tunnel and Vikings locker room experience.”
The Preview Center also contains a cityscape model and a detailed architectural stadium model.
The Vikings’ new stadium is set to open July 2016.
