David Morgan is a 6-foot-4, 265-pound tight end for the Minnesota Vikings.
Put the 26-year-old in front of a linebacker and he’ll win that matchup. Put him in front of a camera and in a modeling competition against 12,000 other dudes and he’ll win that battle, too.
No joke. Morgan, who is really, really, really ridiculously good-looking, is a finalist in the Chubbies 2019 Man Model search, which has been narrowed down to 20 after starting with more than 12,000 hopeful male models.
Guy this is not a drill! I am in 10th place and there are people very very close. This ends tomorrow night, we gotta get moving!! https://t.co/5TsqAo2uF2

You’re LOLing right now, but it’s true. Morgan asked followers on Twitter to vote for him, saying he made the top 20. Ten winners will be announced this Friday, June 7. Voting ended Monday night.
What’s Morgan get if he wins?
The 10 winners will get a two-year paid modeling contract that includes travel accommodations to fashion shows and photo shoots, in addition to $300 a year to spend on on a sponsor’s website. The total value of the prize is $4,500 for each winner.
There’s no word on if he’ll be involved with the Derek Zoolander Center For Children Who Can’t Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too.
Chubbies, a menswear company, launched the model search in 2015, using it as a way to “highlight some of the big personalities, inspiring life stories, and hilarious dudes in their customer base,” according to The Shorty Awards.
According to Spotrac, Morgan is set to make $720,000 from the Vikings during the 2019 season, so a modeling gig, if he gets it, won’t be about the money.
