A pretty cool story here with the Vikings announcing that they’ve signed a product out of Duluth Denfeld High School.
His name is C.J. Ham, a 2011 graduate of Denfeld H.S. who went on to be the leading rusher at Augustana College in South Dakota. Ham rushed for 1,097 yards and 16 touchdowns last season and was named to the All-NSIC South Division Second Team.
The reality is that Ham, like most undrafted free agents, is a long shot to make the 53-man roster – but as it stands right now he has a chance to compete for a spot as one of 90 players on the current roster.
