The Minnesota Vikings have signed receiver Charles Johnson off of the Cleveland Browns practice squad.
He appeared in all four preseason games for the Browns, recording six catches for 65 yards.
Johnson is a second year receiver, he was originally drafted in the seventh round of the 2013 draft by the Green Bay Packers, but spent time in Cleveland last year with Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound receiver was a Division II all-American at Grand Valley State, according to FOX Sports Net.
The roster has been in a state of flux all week for the Vikings, following off-the-field issues for Adrian Peterson and Jerome Simpson.
The Vikings originally planned to activate Peterson for the game in New Orleans, but after public backlash they chose to place Peterson on the exemption list, on Wednesday.
Peterson was indicted on charges of reckless or negligent injury of a child in Texas, earlier this month. He admitted to using a wooden switch to discipline his 4-year-old son.
On Thursday, the Vikings released receiver Jerome Simpson after news of another brush with the law for the troubled receiver broke.
Bloomington Police cited Simpson for violating a restricted driver’s license, open bottle and possession of marijuana on July 7. Simpson was serving a three-game suspension for a drunken driving arrest last November, before his release.
The Vikings play in New Orleans against the Saints on Sunday.
