The Vikings added another target for quarterback Kirk Cousins on Thursday, announcing the signing of wide receiver Tavarres King.
King, a fifth-round pick by the Broncos in 2013, took advantage of an increased role with the Giants late last season and finished with 18 receptions for 240 yards and 3 touchdowns.
The former University of Georgia star saw more playing time while Odell Beckham Jr., Brandon Marshall and Sterling Shepard were out with injuries, and he continued getting game reps after Shepard returned from injury in mid-November.
He also finished 2016 strong with 3 catches for 73 yards and a touchdown in a playoff loss to the Packers.
Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen and Kendall Wright are the clear top three wide receivers for the Vikings, so King will have a chance to compete for playing time with Laquon Treadwell, Stacy Coley, Brandon Zylstra and Cayleb Jones.
