The Minnesota Vikings announced Monday a contract agreement with rookie free-agent linebacker Brian Peters.
Peters played the past two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. The former Northwestern Wildcat, where he played safety from 2007-2011, led the Roughriders with 78 tackles last season. More on Peters’ history from the Vikings:
“Peters played the 2012 season with the Iowa Barnstormers in the Arena Football League after a four-year career at Northwestern. During his collegiate career, Peters started 34-of-52 games and ranks third in school history with 12 career interceptions.”
I wonder if the Vikings plan to keep Brian Peters (6-3, 218) at LB or move him back to safety, where he played in college.

What's with this Northwestern to Vikings pipeline? Over past year they've signed Corey Wootton Kain Colter Tyler Scott & now Brian Peters.
