Randy Moss was inducted into the Vikings’ Ring of Honor (Hall of Fame) Monday night and while most fans have had a chance to see his halftime speech, very few have seen the emotional video released by the Vikings before the ceremony unfolded.
Moss actually received his purple jacket from the Vikings before the game, and during his acceptance speech in front of what sounds like a very small audience, Moss had trouble fighting back tears.

“Seeing my boys, teammates… I appreciate you all coming. I’m very emotional when it comes to the game because I wore the game on my shoulders. I didn’t play the game for any honors,” Moss said while fighting back tears, “I just played the game for the love of the game of football. I think the man upstairs blessed me to be able to showcase my talent, and I think it took me a long time to really realize that I was a blessed man.”
Moss continued.
“I looked at the game as a family. I wanted to win as a team, and lose as a team. Going up in this Ring of Honor here tonight … man, we all in here tonight. I love all of you guys.”

Moss followed up his induction night with a night of sleep followed by some early fishing in the Twin Cities.
