The Vikings open their week of practice ahead of their clash with the Saints with one of their lengthiest injury reports of the season.
Quarterback Jaren Hall and receiver K.J. Osborn remain in concussion protocol after injuries sustained in the team’s 31-28 win over the Falcons Sunday. Neither player participated in practice Wednesday. Dean Lowry also did not practice with a groin injury that’s held him out since sustaining it in Week 8 against the Packers.
Meanwhile, Christian Darrisaw and T.J. Hockenson were limited in practice with groin and rib injuries, respectively. Darrisaw was a gameday scratch ahead of Sunday’s Falcons game. Hockenson sustained a rib injury late in Sunday’s win.
The team opened receiver Justin Jefferson’s 21-day practice window Wednesday with head coach Kevin O’Connell saying it would be “a little aggressive” to see the receiver return to action this weekend against the Saints. Jefferson has missed the previous four weeks with a hamstring injury sustained in Week 5 against the Chiefs.
Brian Asamoah and Johnny Mundt were also listed as limited in Wednesday’s practice.

As for the Saints, backup running back Kednre Miller and backup defensive end Isaiah Foskey did not participate due to ankle and quad injuries.
Head coach Dennis Allen gave veteran rest days to tight end Jimmy Graham and tackle Ryan Ramczyk.
Linebacker Demario Davis and fullback Adam Prentice were listed as full participants with knee injury designations, while linebacker Ty Summers was also a full participant with a hamstring injury designation.
The Vikings host the Saints at U.S. Bank Stadium Sunday with kickoff set for noon.
