The Minnesota Vikings released their preseason schedule on Wednesday.
The Vikings return to outdoor football and open the preseason with back-to-back home games at TCF Bank Stadium against the Oakland Raiders in Week 1 and the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2.
Minnesota will then finish their preseason schedule on the road at Kansas City and at Tennessee.
- Preseason Week 1 (Aug. 7-9) vs. Oakland Raiders
- Preseason Week 2 (Aug. 14-16) vs. Arizona Cardinals
- Preseason Week 3 (Aug. 21-23) at Kansas City Chiefs
- Preseason Week 4 (Aug. 28-29) at Tennessee Titans
The specific dates and times haven’t been finalized yet.
It will give Vikings fans a chance to see Norv Turner’s offense against one of the NFL’s top defenses from last year in the Arizona Cardinals.
According to ESPN, since the Vikings are sharing a stadium with the University of Minnesota, they could see a similar arrangement during the 2015 preseason.
The Gophers open their 2014 season on Aug. 28 at home against Southern Illinois, so the Vikings’ late road trips could be designed to reduce scheduling conflicts and clutter at the stadium.
