Dennis Green left a lasting impact on the players he coached, and on the day word spread of his death, many of those players are remembering him on social media. The Vikings called him a mentor to “countless players and a father figure for the men he coached.”

It’s worth noting that even Jamal Anderson, the running back on the 1998 Atlanta Falcons team that beat the Vikings in overtime to reach the Super Bowl, is remembering Green.
