The Minnesota Vikings might be running on a lot of spare parts as they play for NFC North Division supremacy on Thursday in the Motor City.
The Vikings have been patching their offensive line together for weeks, but it looks like the Vikings defense may not be firing on all cylinders Thursday either.
Three of the four members of the Vikings starting secondary did not practice Tuesday, according to the team’s injury report. Harrison Smith, Terence Newman and Andrew Sendejo all sat out because of various ailments.

Additionally, it appears that linebacker Chad Greenway’s status for Thursday is also unknown, but for a much different reason.

The Vikings plan to leave for Detroit Wednesday. According to Pro Football Talk, Greenway will stay behind if his wife gives birth before then, or is about to.
Not that the Vikings offense needed anymore bad news, but Stefon Diggs also missed Tuesday’s practice because of a knee injury.
