Restricted free agent A.J. Jefferson will return to the Vikings in 2013, the team announced today.
Jefferson, who came to Minnesota in a trade with Arizona last summer, will make $1.3 million next season, according to the Pioneer Press.
Last year, Jefferson started seven games — recording 31 tackles. He may get more playing time in 2013, depending on whether the Vikings somehow re-sign Antoine Winfield or select more defensive help in the upcoming draft.
