A knee injury may keep Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield out of the game against the St. Louis Rams, The Associated Press reports.
The team listed Winfield as questionable late Friday after being held out of practice. Coach Leslie Frazier said Winfield should be able to play, but will consider limiting the defensive standout’s playing time.
Winfield, 35, played in just five games last year after suffering a neck problem, and later on, a broken collarbone.
Also on the injury front, cornerback A.J. Jefferson cleared league-mandated concussion tests and will be able to play Sunday.
The 7-6 Vikings will play the 6-6-1 Rams in St. Louis. Game time is noon.
