It’s game day in Minneapolis as the 7-7 Vikings host the 10-4 Lions and both teams will be without some key players.
For the Vikings, right tackle Brian O’Neill (ankle), cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. (hamstring) have been ruled out. Murphy was ruled out on Friday and O’Neill entered Sunday with a questionable tag, but he’ll miss his second straight game because of the injury sustained Dec. 10 against Las Vegas.
David Quessenberry is expected to make a second straight start at right tackle.
Four other players who were questionable are action, including running back Alexander Mattison (ankle), defensive tackle Harrison Phillips (back) and linebackers Jordan Hicks (shin) and Ivan Pace Jr. (shoulder).

For the Lions, two key starters will not play today: linebacker Derrick Barnes, who is dealing with a shoulder injury, and cornerback C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who returned to practice in a limited capacity this week for the first time since suffering a torn pectoral muscle in Week 2.
