The one thing the Minnesota Vikings don’t need is another injury along the offensive line, but guard Brandon Fusco sat out of practice Wednesday because of a concussion.

Fusco’s availability for Sunday’s game against San Diego is uncertain. He told the Pioneer Press after his workout that he could not talk about his condition. Before he can play, Fusco would need to pass the NFL-mandated concussion protocol.
According to 1500 ESPN, Fusco led an improved performance from the offensive line on Sunday. Fusco was the only Vikings player that didn’t practice Wednesday.
Fusco was replaced at practice on the first team by Jeremiah Sirles. Ironically, he was acquired from the Chargers earlier this month.

The Vikings have been dealing with several injuries along the offensive line. Starting left tackle Phil Loadholt will miss the season after suffering a torn Achilles. Starting center John Sullivan suffered a back injury and will miss at least the first seven games. Reserve tackle Carter Bykowski also underwent season-ending surgery to repair a torn pectoral.
