Things aren’t looking good for the Vikings to have defensive tackle Linval Joseph when they play the Green Bay Packers for the NFC North Division title Sunday night.
The Vikings listed Joseph as “doubtful” for the game on their final injury report released on Friday afternoon.
The nose tackle played 65 snaps after returning from a foot injury on Sunday against the New York Giants, but he hasn’t practiced all week. ESPN’s Ben Goessling reports that Joseph left with Vikings trainer Eric Sugarman after stretching at the start of Friday’s practice.

The health of the Vikings defensive interior is somewhat concerning. In addition to Joseph’s injury, Sharrif Floyd also didn’t practice on Friday. Floyd was also limited on both Wednesday and Thursday because of a knee injury, but he is listed as probable.
But without Joseph in the mix, the Vikings weren’t nearly as good against the run and Packers running back Eddie Lacy has had four consecutive 100-yard games against the Vikings.
The rest of the Vikings on the injury report including left tackle Matt Kalil, running back Adrian Peterson and defensive end Everson Griffen all practiced on Friday and are listed as probable for Sunday night’s game.
The Vikings and Packers kickoff at 7:25 Sunday night.
