Defensive tackle Kevin Williams will miss just his fifth career game Sunday, head coach Leslie Frazier said in his post-practice press conference today.

In the tweet, Frazier is referencing rookie defensive tackles Sharrif Floyd and Letroy Guion as the combo that will replace Williams.
After Frazier’s presser, Williams revealed he is also optimistic about playing next week against Chicago.

Williams had missed practice the entire week while recovering from a score of knee injuries suffered in the Vikings third preseason game against San Francisco, including a hyperextension.
