It’s a good news/bad news Sunday morning for the Vikings as one key player returns from injury and a star linebacker is out for the noon kickoff against the Raiders.
The Vikings announced at 10:30 a.m. that linebacker Anthony Barr is inactive for the game because of a groin injury. Barr tested his mobility on the field before the game but apparently wasn’t good enough to give it a go.
The good news is that cornerback Mike Hughes will play. He’s been out since suffering a knee injury during Week 6 of last season – his rookie campaign in the NFL after being drafted by the Vikings in the first round.
