The Minnesota Vikings will look to climb above .500 for the first time this season when they take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon.
Sunday’s game will be the first the Vikings will play without Kirk Cousins, who suffered a torn Achilles in last week’s win over the Green Bay Packers but will also be without Christian Darrisaw, who is inactive with a groin injury.
With that here are the Vikings’ inactive for Sunday’s game.
- S Lewis Cine
- RB Kene Nwangwu
- LB Brian Asamoah II
- TE Nick Muse
- T Christian Darrisaw
- WR Jalen Nailor
- DE Dean Lowry
Darrisaw was added to the injury report and downgraded on Saturday afternoon and could not recover in time for Sunday’s game. Darrisaw’s absence leaves a massive hole on the Vikings’ blindside as he ranks second behind Philadelphia’s Jordan Mailata in PFF grade this season and has allowed just 13 pressures on 304 pass-blocking snaps.
Meanwhile, the Falcons will also be down a key player on offense after leading receiver Drake London was ruled out on Friday with a groin injury. London has 37 catches for 438 yards and two touchdowns this season and will be a missing target for Taylor Heinicke, who will be making his first start of the season at quarterback.
Here are the rest of the inactives for the Falcons.
- WR Drake London
- QB Logan Woodside (emergency third QB)
- S DeMarcco Hellams
- FB Keith Smith
- OL Jovaughn Gywn
- DL Travis Bell
- DL Joe Gaziano
