The Vikings gave the anchor of their offensive line a raise and a one-year contract extension on Tuesday, ESPN’s Field Yates reports.

Before the extension Sullivan was due to make $4.65 in each of the next two seasons. The amendment to the contract will also pay Sullivan a $1 million signing bonus and $500,000 in incentives.
Viking Update notes that Sullivan’s original contract was scheduled to expire after the 2016 season. The extension is now part of the five-year, $25.1 million contract he signed in 2011.
Sullivan was the highest-rated offensive lineman the Vikings had last season, according to Pro Football Focus, via SB Nation. He has started all 16 games in each of the last three seasons, according to the Star Tribune.
