It doesn’t sound like the Vikings are anywhere near landing free-agent wide receiver Mike Wallace.
According to the Palm Beach Post, Wallace signing with the Miami Dolphins is a “done deal.”
ESPN NFC North blogger Kevin Seifert isn’t surprised. He writes that “you haven’t been paying attention” if you thought Minnesota would sign Wallace, who might be in line for an $11 million per year payday.
Meanwhile:
ESPN is listing Green Bay’s Greg Jennings the No. 1 free agent out of 50 for 2013, calling him a “true No. 1 wideout.”
As for the Vikings signing their own free agents, Rant Sports reports that if fullback Jerome Felton isn’t retained, Rhett Ellison might be in line for an expaneded role in 2013.
